From the renowned Cristom Vineyards in Oregon's Eola-Amity Hills, the Mt. Jefferson Cuvee is the winery's flagship Pinot Noir — a wine that captures the essence of the Willamette Valley with elegance and depth. The 2022 vintage draws on three-quarters estate fruit and carefully selected parcels from across the appellation, reflecting the region's distinctive volcanic soils and cool-climate character.
Aromas of sour cherry, red currant, dried flowers and gentle spice lead into a medium-bodied palate brimming with wild berry fruit, cranberry and pomegranate. Bright, vibrant acidity carries flavours of tart raspberry and earthy undertones through to a long, spice-laced finish with fine, clay-textured tannins.
Crafted using traditional Burgundian methods, this wine was fermented with 52% whole clusters using native yeasts, then matured for 10 months in French oak (22% new). Bottled unfiltered and unfined, it's a beautifully expressive Oregon Pinot Noir with real purity of fruit.
